Bought from member on here. They used less than five nights. I used it two nights in yard to prep for season. Hunted in group didn't use at all this season. Original purchase from Tarptent in 2020. I purchased last June. Excellent condition. No stakes, does come with both DCF storage...
Go to limited entry for all units. Keep everything else the same. Set up a change 3 years from date of announcement:
Hunters in A group hunt in even years, hunters in B group hunt in odd years. You have three years to prepare and decide with your group of friends and family. From start date...
One thing that doesn't get mentioned is the weaker components of mechanicals, and how they interact with the increased forces generated by heavy arrows/heavy poundage/long draw.
Yes, you will likely have more juice behind the arrow to ensure it will open, and push most or all of the way...
I go to spine chart for my draw weight and length for normal point weight (100gr). Select next stiffest spine. Buy any brand, diameter, used/unused arrows I feel like in that spine. Cut them as short as possible. Square both ends of the arrow. Install 100gr SS ethics halfouts. I don't...
Only downside I can come up with is in comparison to a sharp, small diameter COC two blade head. They will hang up in heavier bone that the two blade might split. It's a very small number of instances this might matter in real life.
They fly great, and sharpen easily.
Anecdotal evidence of...
I use a few different floorless shelters. I have an EE recon bivy. If I will encounter bugs, or a decent chance of precipitation, or really fine dust (think hunting a burn), I'll use it.
It's a convenient way to keep your pad, bag, etc all together, both for packing, and so things don't yard...
Juice isn't worth the squeeze in my opinion. The time/effort to gather all the data needed, and then set up the base to be user friendly, is enormous. And it would require significant continued labor.
For a user of this product/service/tool, It would take you a half hour to an hour to learn...
I use this alot:

Most of my camping adventures are in 55*+ weather. Inside of a tent, this is about all the insulation I need.
For my mountain hunting adventures, I start with a ground sheet and insulated sleeping pad. Then I have a pad liner (mostly for...
I have a 1x-4x on my .444 handi rifle for close quarters hunting. I like being able to shoot it both eyes open on fast moving situations. When I have magnification I find it messes with my eyes and I can’t do that.
It ain’t gonna allow me to shoot sub MOA at 100. But neither will the rifle...
What's everyone doing for scopes on this build? I'm probably chopping to at least 18" on my 7mm-08. I may even go shorter. Given that, it's probably a 300 yard deer (way beyond my current humble capabilities) and 200 yard elk gun.
What sets me up well for 50-200yd shots and sticks with the...
28.5” carbon to carbon arrow. 76lb/30” bow shooting 520gr arrow, with 225 total weight up front. 290ish fps. 300 spine tuned up just fine with fixed heads. 250 spine works fine too.
I think the information is really useful for the OP, and for all of us.
You said you've chosen a lighter arrow because it's more forgiving when yardage is misjudged. But am I correct that you felt like the difference in the scenario you described is 8", and not something less than 3"?
I think...
