    WTS Leupold VX-2 4-12x40 AO

Yes 1” tube(I’ll put calipers on it when I get home to confirm but I don’t think they made a 30mm in this model). I have the rings/mount that came off a savage 10 round back receiver that would be available also. I think they are leupold but they aren’t stamped on top of the rings like others...

    The 22 creedmoor thread

This is why I’m looking at 7.5-7.7 Tw barrels. Just seems not as many manufacturers make them. Seems these twist rates would be perfect for 80’s-88’s.

    Bushnell Forge European market scopes

Anyone have experience with These? Just got the 2-16x50 model from Natchezss for $370 shipped. My understanding is that the adjustments are 0.05mil and they are heavy. Looking forward to getting it in.

    The 22 creedmoor thread

About to order a barrel in .22cm. If I’m wanting to shoot 80 & 88gr Eldm’s, what twist rate would be best? Thinking about a 22” or 24” barrel. I’m at 1000’ asl.

What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

I’d love a cz 527 in 17 hornet.. shame they quit making them. I’d for sure use one on white tail.

What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

Yep. Caliber restrictions are moronic imho. There appears to be zero data ever collected to support such restrictions. I’m glad there are none here in NC. I will say that about 10 years ago I knew a master game warden personally(he’s since retired). He told me that they estimated that the...

What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

😎 when I was in my early teens I hunted with a 12ga slug gun, a 30/06 and a 300 win mag on occasion. Think it was when I was about 18 I got a swift and decided to try it out on white tail. I never went back to the 12ga, 06 or 300. I mostly use an ar15 of some flavor with 77gr smk’s now, but the...

What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

50gr NBT’s out of a slow twist 22-250 or swift are like lightning bolts on white tail. Spectacular DRT killer.

I’m sorry you feel like I’m trying to persuade you. That’s not my intent. Just pointing out the findings of two of the biggest names in the hunting and shooting world over the last 100years. However you process that is entirely up to you.

What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

Same. I grew up listening to 300 mag this 30-06 that. I’ve now exclusively hunted with a 5.56, 22-250 & 220 swift for over two decades. I do own a 30-06 and 300 but they really only leave the safe to bang steel. Russians in Siberia use ratted out x39 sks’s on bear..
