If you get an EMT and a red card you can usually detail with a wildland crew for a couple weeks at a time as medical coverage. The pay is good and you're basically working when you want to.
To each their own but mine have disappointed me. My black gold sights have fallen apart quicker than any others I've used. They started with loose tolerances which makes manufacturing easier and cheaper. They do have the best fiber on the market though.
I'm not a fan of the spot hog yardage...
Sights got expensive when people started paying more for them. The market wanted slider sights and they built them better. Some of the cheaper built sliders should be $125-150 max. Those $400 black gold sights are a real disappointment. They should be in the lower price range. A nice...
Sounds like surepost. They've been doing that for years. Typically USPS takes it the last mile but if they don't go to your door normally then it ends up at the post office.
Do you enjoy working for someone else? Why not start your own business. You set your own hours. I don't know what you'd do but security consultant could work. I'd pick a business that doesn't require much overhead so you can be more profitable and pivot if need be.
Recently my wife got sick...
With this guy and all his other troubles, there were accusations that he knew people in high places.
WBC,
Think of this like Al Capone getting pinched on tax evasion.
Those are the best on the market for outer ear protection. I used them when working fire/saw work. I did not like shooting at animals with ear pro in so I only did that once. I've always enjoyed hearing the impact, especially if I can't spot it. It gives me more info to go on.
Usually, it's a broken system that makes it hard to hold people accountable. In this instance there was a lot of evidence over a lifetime achievement for him. The feds were just able to finally make something stick.
I'll add to my last post. You can also send in your action to a quality barrel maker and they will set headspace for you. It can eliminate some issues. That said, most quality barrel makers can get real close with a prefit. Again, don't cheap out.
You can also go with a barrel nut and set...
My vote wouldn't be what you asked for. I'd find a good smith and get a blank from the mfg that you and he agree on. That way your smith will warranty the barrel and work for you. You'll be money ahead in the end and likely have a better product. This opinion comes from multiple...

That's a great deal even if there is a newer model coming.
I had the same question about a thicker profile barrel several years back. It did change the group size. I can't say if it's harmonics or a bad crown job but I had impressive groups at distance before. It's not horrible now but more of an moa gun. This was not a Tikka.
I have not shot my...
I still can't figure out all the new bans/rules in Canada. Didn't they ban everything over 2,800 joules?
If your rules are 30 cal then you should be fine with any modern chambering from the last 120 or so years (I'd avoid the blackout though).
