    Grim Reaper Broadhead issues

Interesting. What did the wound channels look like? Should be pretty obvious if that big bastard opens up.

    Grim Reaper Broadhead issues

Seems almost impossible for the blades on a Reaper to not deploy. Which model do you have?

    Buying second hand on classifieds

Sellers here understand so tend to not insist anymore so I just cover the fees. A couple years ago I was one who insisted on F&F because of the IRS thing but they backed that out so shouldn't be an issue with people accepting G&S now. I'll still send F&F for smaller amount items but it would...

    Buying second hand on classifieds

I don't have a problem buying anything here and on other forums, if using PayPal I double up and use a CC to fund the G&S. If PayPal doesn't cover it the CC will be happy to reverse charges. I don't stress about it, bought a lot and so far so good. My worst transaction on RS I bought 192 pieces...

What do I want for Christmas

About ten years ago my mother in law bought me a two pack of these little solar inflatable LED lanterns. Nobody ever knows what to get me because if I want something I've already bought it so she saw these and thought it was just a novelty thing. I've used those on multiple trips per year every...

    Who Here Shoots Pintails Often?

Still get lots of them on the coast in Texas along with the Redheads. Hunting the bays you can usually count on getting your coastal limit (two Reds and a Pin) then trying to fill in the rest with other birds. I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if you still need any when we get after them...

    Flashlight suggestions for backpack/truck

That was probably 6 years ago or so now, and I still use that flashlight. I'd bought a new one after losing this one, found the old one so gave the new one to my wife. It's always lost now, been washed in the washing machine a few times too...

    Flashlight suggestions for backpack/truck

Definitely this. We have a place we duck hunt every year, lost my flashlight that year. Next year spotted it in the middle of the long road out to the ponds. Got the truck stopped and backed up and grabbed it, hit the switch and it fired up and used it the rest of the weekend.

Bivy out tempts me but fears keep me at bay

Yeah I don't care what I'm doing I don't get any sleep night 1, usually excited and my brain is planning all night long. Night 2 I'm tired and I'll sleep more but I'm still getting maybe 2-3 broken hours. Nights 3+ I'm exhausted and out pretty quick and as long as I don't get startled in the...

    Missing Oregon Hunter

He may have just ran out of ammo. Hopefully he's just got a twisted ankle and some sort of cover for that rain inbound.

Suppressors on a bolt action SBR Question (now that the $200 tax is going away)

Wife has their Polonium K on a 16" 6mm ARC and seems to perform pretty well for that application. We haven't shot it without hearing protection but plan to for hunting. Doesn't seem as loud as my B&T Ranger 6.5CM when shooting together.

Anarchy .50 cal muzzle brake and sabots?

You ever try it, OP? Thinking about dremeling the lip off of mine to open it up. I originally wasn't planning on shooting sabots but switched gears and don't want to buy another brake. I probably won't use it for hunting anyway just the range.
