    6GT?

Regardless of factory loads or handloads, about 1500-2000, depending on how it's used. For PRS competition, I get about 1500.

    6GT?

This is the main advantage that the 6GT has over the 6BR, IMO.

6.5 Creedmoor: Heavy and Slow or Light and Fast

Yessir. For the lots of bullets I’m using, and in my barrels, an average G7 value of 0.351 has worked very well. BC obviously depends on multiple variables, including the engraving/deformation caused by individual barrels, so drag profiles vary.

6.5 Creedmoor: Heavy and Slow or Light and Fast

In terms of the "best bullet here," I can agree to disagree, and I'll afford you the same luxury of continuing to buy and shoot your bullet of choice. Leaves more 147s for me. :)

    New tricer bipod

Thanks for the feedback. Curious how it handles ~25 lbs rifles, as well.

    New tricer bipod

How do these bipods handle heavy rifles? Thinking of a crossover bipod for NRL Hunter and PRS.

    Hanging Gongs

Yeah, that looks like a very unstable design. I make brackets out of electrical conduit (they each accept two legs and a crossbar) but use rebar for the legs and crossbar themselves.

    Overtorqued Rings / Trijicon TenMile

I'd get those rings as far apart as possible, and as far away from the erector tube as possible.

6.5 Creedmoor: Heavy and Slow or Light and Fast

Thanks. I'll disagree that the 147 provides no advantage over the 140 ELD-M or 140 Hybrid within 600 yards. Winds are seldom constant, and any advantage to decrease the variability in wind drift is meaningful, at least to me. Your point about 2000 fps minimum impact speed threshold is not...

A utility knife works well. A reciprocating saw also works.

6.5 Creedmoor: Heavy and Slow or Light and Fast

One other benefit to the slow, heavy bullets, such as the 147 ELD-M in the 6.5 CM, is the consistent terminal performance. Most C&C bullets tend to behave pretty predictably when impacting at <2700 fps, and the high BC of the 147 means that it loses speed at a slower rate, so the impact speed is...

6.5 Creedmoor: Heavy and Slow or Light and Fast

At what distance and in what environmental conditions? The relative wind drift between those three bullets changes with distance, with the 147 gaining advantage as distance increases.

    Hanging Gongs

The problem with T-post designs is that after a few hits, the T-posts get cut down and collapse.

    Hanging Gongs

This doesn't show where it connects to the crossbar via carabiner, but it shows the setup at the target.

    Hanging Gongs

I don't have a pic handy right at the moment, but I use Grade 8 bolts and washers on the face of the target, with a ~3" wide strip of mud flap on the back of the target with Grade 8 nuts and washers back there. I also add some washers between the target and the strap to give the target a bit of...

    Hanging Gongs

This is what I do, as well. Works great and lasts a long time.

    New tricer bipod

That’s a relief! Thanks. It doesn’t actually show the currency, so I couldn’t be sure. Thanks.

    New tricer bipod

Ooph. Looks like the price has gone from $300 to $463. I'm hoping that's in CAD, but I somehow doubt it.
