I could see how that maybe good for day time calling or short distance night time, but out to 200 yards at night when you need it down quickly I don't think it is the huckleberry.
Looking specifically at 223 cause I have an ar I have been playing with as well as a tikka 223 showing up any day...
Who here is consistently shooting bobcats?
Have a shot a few and not had any real issues, but have been playing with other rifles and playing with bullets a little. Was watching a Johnny's reloading bench video about 40 grain nosler ballistic tips in an ar with great accuracy, would be...
There is a wealth of knowledge in this thread. If you haven't looked at it you may want to.

25/7prc does not kick like a 270 even with a 134 @3240fps. I feel my 25/7prc with...
I have a few sets of the hawkins hybrids I'll let go cheap cheap. https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/tikka-rings-and-benelli-rail.393436/
Just now acquiring my rss 223 tikka
Over the past couple days annealed nearly 2 gallons of 223 brass, tumbled that and 1 gallon or more of 9mm.
Been working on some loads for a 16" 223 wylde using 69 tmks.
Chopped a handguard down in length.
Put together a 223 wylde after tearing apart the old 22 grendel I got back from a friend. Loaded some rounds for it with the 69 tmk and varget.
After range threw the brass in the tumbler.
Been processing a bunch of range brass 9mm and 223 for a couple days, then this afternoon decided I don't...
What did you decide?
I would go 22arc only reason for the 6 is if you were in a state where big game had to be 6mm or bigger then you old have double duty.
I have ran a few 22 grendels (same thing) 69 tmk, 64 tgk, 60 tmk. My favorite was 69 tmk on dogs and other game @3300fps. If you were...
Turn them inside out, would be interesting to see.
O.p. let us know how it goes. Have a 25/7prc not sure I would load down for dogs, but interesting to know what it would do.
Are you running tmk or?
I have ran them in some bolt guns and in a 22 grendel, but wondering how well they will do on the 16" 223. I would think they will still do great on dogs and cats as well as some rocks and steel when playing some. May try to take it to s.d. this June for some prairie...
I dont know, but swapping that finder between multiple scopes wouldn't you have to always be checking its zero?
Seems it would be eSier to have your thermal set up and then have a day separate even if you want to swap the day between day guns.
I ran the sico radius and before that a cheap ass...
Look for rainshadow either on Google or other forums and see what he has done and does. I think he has some videos or seminars he has done around.
Has e calls and hand calls and explains them
