Last year there were Sw tags that went into the 2nd choice drawing. Odfw is saying there were 950 people who didn’t get it first choice, that means there were at least 1000 more people that put in for it than last year.
I didn’t draw my SW tag for the first since I have been hunting... I’m pretty disappointed as I look forward to this hunt every year.

The point is move on, no need to comment on the thread. Keep your opinion to yourself. How many other threads did you scroll past with little interest in? You could have done it with this thread as well. Remember the adage if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say it all.
I’m down in the Roseburg area and hunt all over the place down here. Ticks are just part of the game now unfortunately. I work in the timber industry for a living and while you get a lot less of them in the winter, you still occasionally find them.
Move on. You don’t need be a jerk, there’s enough of that going around right now and is not needed in this community. If I had it my way people, like you, who make comments like this would be banned.

For my bachelor party, a small group of friends and I backpacked into a high mountain lake for a few nights. We hung out, hiked, and fished the days away. It was very relaxing and enjoyable.
Pretty much the same thing we did. For our son it was vitally important not to pick him up, only pat or run his back a little bit. I think it really helped us to set a timer between cries. 5 minutes of screaming can feel like an eternity especially in the middle of the night.

Coming out of college I interviewed for a job in early March and didn’t hear a peep till mid May when they offered me the job.

Don’t know how short you are looking but I think the sig cross comes in a pretty small package. I think a 16” barrel on the 308 and 18” on the 6.5 creed and threaded for a suppressor. It’s also a bolt action.
Except the success rates for rifle are much higher, so it’s very different. Pretty sad when someone supports something because “it’s not fair archery has more otc opportunity”. Sorry if my paraphrasing of your comment is inaccurate but it’s what it sounds like. You can also dedicate yourself to...
On your 7mm-08 what bullet are you using? I really enjoy shooting my wife’s rifle. I have thought about it as a back up to my 300win mag. I’m primarily an archery hunter but my out of state points are getting up there so I may be trying some rifle hunts.
I’m intrigued by the 280 ai but it will be to much for my 9yo to handle. I think my wife probably could handle it especially with a suppressor or brake
