Dameon,
Sorry to hear that we made you jump the gun! If you would rather have the XL kit let me know and I can help you get those swapped out.
That's pretty much what I did with mine, added paracord, my razor lite knife, and a black trash bag. Makes a great kill kit.
Just wanted to let all the Roksliders know that our Ovis Sacks game bag sets and Kill Kit's are back in stock on the site in both Large and XL sizes. The carry bag has been redesigned to take up less room in your pack and also lightened up a bit as well.
Each set comes with 4 quarter bags, 1...

I haven't found the perfect one for backpack hunting yet... My ideal tripod would weigh less than 2 lbs and would only have one sliding leg section as I very rarely glass standing and despise having 3 feet of tripod that I don't use but have to carry anyway. I really like the Schonfeld tripods...

The Guide and Hunter boots are basically the same except for the taller height of the Hunter. The Wild Rock is entirely different. It features a Full Grain leather upper, different Vibram Sole with Super-Grip mixture, and is insulated with 400 grams of Primaloft rather than the 200 gram...
The Vibram soles on the Idaho are very durable but in my experience are much "softer" than alto of other boots. This and the way the sole is designed with more contact allows for higher traction in a variety of terrain. I haven't experienced any lack if traction wet or dry personally.

I wad just doing some research on putting a wood stove in these and it looks like several people have done it with success. Mostly a matter of finding where you want it to be inside the tent and then having a stove jack installed by someone that has experience working with canvas. For now the...
I have the Deluxe Flex bow, should have clarified. The awning is pretty decent on mine and I will usually set it up and run a tarp around to give shelter for cooking out of the wind. Obviously the awning on the cabin model is much nicer.
If I need more room for cooking or excess gear. I just...
Ditto on the Kodiak Canvas 10x14 Deluxe, we have had ours for 3 years and it is awesome! We have a 2 person cot that we put a futon mattress on and it's better than a hotel. Plenty of room for gear, cots, table, Mr. Heater when it gets cold. Easy to set up by yourself as well.
From our experience trying them on they definitely fit true to size, but with a slightly athletic fit. I typically wear a large and I am 6'0 185 lbs and a Large is what I would wear in the Kryptek Dalibor jacket and others. Hope this helps
Most of the compact rangefinders will fit in the basement pocket of the KISS but as far as accessing it in a hurry it is not an ideal location. I personally use the CUB and keep my rangefinder in the front pocket when I'm just traveling along, if I think there may be a shot opportunity I will...
We can get a 13 EE (wide) in any of the Crispi boots with the exception of the Summit at the moment. If you need a bigger size I would suggest calling Crispi US directly to see if they can get them for you. 844-855-7545
They hold up to wet weather very well, obviously the full leather boots (Hunter, Guide, Nevada, Wild Rock, and Valdres) are going to be better options for extremely wet conditions. I have been using the Idaho myself and have tried purposely all year to get them as wet as possible. I have yet to...
