I've picked up some BLM maps for general reference. Using Google earth and Onxmaps for a better view of the area. I've got a few places narrowed down according to terrain and expectations of the type of hunt I want. That said, I'll be packing into two areas this month for a boots on the ground...
If you guys are looking for good boonies, there's a guy on eBay and Facebook that makes custom hats. Look up Slangvel. Reasonable pricing and custom orders.
You can also use duct tape to space your fletching farther forward. When the clamp on the ez Fletcher is open there's two troughs on the sides of where the fletching sits into, you can run a small strip across it for your one inch forward setting.
