    Thanks for that feedback. Yeah I agree the size, weight and performance are everything I’m looking for, but poor eyebox forgiveness trumps almost anything else for me.

    Johnnyred, you may have just saved the day. I’ve been filtering wrong for the Mark5. The illuminated options weren’t popping up for me. I was literally on the phone about to buy that ZCO420… but this made me pump the brakes. Thank you

    I did. All of my other rifles wear a Leupold. The Mark 5s are actually what we used in that long range course I mentioned. My only issue is that they aren’t illuminated. That’s a deal breaker for me. (And I’ve heard of tracking/durability issues)

    Thanks for the link. I just read through the Zeiss review and immediately ruled that one out. I’m sure it’s fine for a bench gun, but my instincts were correct… those turrets wouldn’t bode well in the woods.
