In Kennewick, I haven't been out hunting birds yet, but I just got a 20 week old GWP so have been out on a few walks with him and been in birds a few times.
Does anyone have a SO cimmaron or red cliff or 4 man tipi around Kennewick Washington that would let a few guys come see it set up? I would like to see it before I pull the trigger on one.
thanks
Thanks, after thinking about it last night i was going to do just that. Plus work on my form/grip being more constant. I just started week 1 of School of Nock this week so im hoping that helps.
Thanks for your help!!
How much would point weight change what I’m seeing? I’m shooting 125’s right now.
set up, 300 spine outlaws, cut at 28.5” with 4 max stealths, 7” wrap, and a 42 gr brass insert shooting 70 lbs with 28” draw
Thanks billy goat! That’s good advice, I’m working on my grip and anchor trying to be consistent.
I measured last night from the point where my rest was adjusted to where it was level was 3/16”. That seemed pretty far off
Hey guys so I adjusted my rest to where it was level, and the first 3 pictures shows how that did. That was the best group out of 5 groups shot, so I moved it half way between the starting point (nock low) and level and shot again and those are the last two pictures.
min going to adjust it...
Here’s a group from this morning. Top view and side of fletched and bare shafts at 25 yds. Do I need to be closer when checking them like this or further than 25?
Here are a couple of pictures of the rest, it’s mounted in the Berger hole, but adjusted above it. If it were you guys would you go...
I’m shouting bare shafts and fletched arrows right now. The fletched arrows group really well (touching or 3” groups at 25 yards, that’s about my accuracy range right now) the bare shafts I don’t remember what they do I will go shoot some and post a picture
I bought a bow off of archery talk 4 years ago. I have taken it into my local bow shop for new strings and module and arrow tuning. The shop isn’t the most reliable in my opinion but they are the only Hoyt dealer close to me. I have shot 2 deer with it, 20 and 50 yds. As I’m learning more about...
I definitely like this approach better than the one applied in the Grand Tetons. But why couldn’t the state sell goat tags to hunters and make a little 💰?
