    I was in Montana elk hunting and was trying To use my binos as a bipod shooting up hill, the bull dropped off the ridge line to the other side so I took off after him leaving my swaro’s on the side of the mountain. Luckily I found the the next day!

    wow, thank you all for the advice, I am excited to try this alone for all the reasons you guys have mentioned and did purchase a garmin inreach, now I just have to grow a pair and get after it!
