    I ordered a Boonie this year, really liking it so far. Will say the pin brightness in mine does leave something to be desired in more low light. But under normal daylight shooting it hasn't been an issue.

    Out of my own curiosity for this year, what mechanicals are you liking for elk? I was going to have a few in my quiver this fall for an elk hunt. Will probably be shooting QAD Exodus first, but for a backup or if I have a bull come in close in the treestand I may try out a mechanical.

    I have. A good friend of mine has a pair that we hunt pheasants with every year. Little bird finding machines and very impressive. I've just settled on wanting more of a pointing breed. But very handsome dogs.
