    You have to be quick, it's a lubricant until it dries. Don't use the red takes a lot of heat to break loose.

    Thought Experiment: bear defense

    AR-10 with a red dot. I figure I could probably get 3-4 shots in the second or two it would take for the bear to start killing me. A 12 ga with slugs might recoil too much to get more than one or two shots. Same thing with a larger caliber rifle. I wouldn't even consider a handgun.

    Porcupine. It was late on a Sunday night, so I wound up removing them myself. Luckily it wasn't too bad.

    My job prepares me mentally for things that suck. Cold, heat, rain and snow don't hold a candle to how much I hate my job.
