    M70 RokStok

I believe the answer is “yes” you just have to specify which in your order notes, and just because they are swamped busy getting all this going it’s probably be smart to follow up with an email/call to confirm so no detail gets missed/left out. Maybe that drives them nuts, but it’s less work...

    RokStok

My stock with flush cups, spartan pic rail, dead-cat barrel inlet, and recoil lug came in right around 30 oz. (maybe a little less) I'm figuring/hoping that with 2 ea 1/2" recoil pad/LOP spacers that it will end up right on top of the factory plastic in weight (my scale says 32ish oz.). Pretty...

Has anybody that's received one of the pre-order RokStok's get/order a longer length of pull than 13.5? (i.e. exercise the free recoil pad spacer option)

trijicon Accupoint weakness vs Tenmile (wire reticle vs etched)

I think the implication is that decimated (base 10) angular units of measure, if you learn how to 'stay in' those units in your mind for referencing, measuring with the reticle, talking drops and wind holds, etc. (don't try to convert back and forth)... are easier to use quickly and efficiently...

    Mammoths ....... in Yellowstone?

On the plus side, this could give wolves something else to chase/murder besides elk and bison... but back here in the real world, imagine if the smart folks involved in this program put their brains and energy towards something more useful? What if we focused our 'de-extinction' efforts towards...

Here's what I sent to UM for the cerakote, with these two pictures, figured I'd let the experts take it over beyond this input, obviously they did great. "I normally don't sweat colors too much, but how about a 'color inverted' and grayer version of Finnish M05 snow camo? (see attached)...

    RokStok

Oh yeah! Just arrived tonight. Kudos to Form, UM, and Stockys. Was one of the first people to pre-order and really appreciate the 2-day shipping to AK! Got a call just on Monday from the coatings team to confirm details of cerakote, so that’s pretty speedy work! The “inverted color/gray...

**** yeah, I’ll be in for one short action soon. I just got my Tikka RokStok in hand an hour ago, mounted it up and played around with shooting imaginary bullets at imaginary critters in the backyard… can tell it’s a winner! (Will post pics/info in other thread soon)

Montana Rifle Co. Junction 308Win Field Evaluation

Thanks for the feedback/info. I'm extremely interested in these MRC 2022's and it's nice to see they seem to be 'doing it right'. Top of my list for future rifle acquisition currently. Also leaning harder and harder everyday towards pre-ordering a Model 70 RokStok, only have two temporary...

I think 'Lite' it's in reference to a lighter foam fill material, I think they mentioned targeting 19 oz. +/- stock weight when using the lighter fill foam that they/Stocky's are considering/testing, as I recall

So, in the spirit of shifting gears, anybody else out there got cool shiny new freshly delivered Rokstok pictures to share? I’m patiently awaiting 2 of them and living vicariously thru this thread in the meantime ha

Montana Rifle Co. Junction 308Win Field Evaluation

@Imac45acp wild proposition for ya… Unknown has a presale going for Model 70 inletted Rokstok’s, they need to sell 15 to pay for the mold to then send to Stockys so they can make it happen… theres another on here that says he’ll order, and I intend to order, so that leaves 13 more for MRC to...

Ah, finally I know I’m not alone in the “young enough to not have fought in Vietnam but still prefers CRF” arena haha. Glad to see MRC working to make these right and have stumbled on a few like minded folks in the process.

Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-12.5x42 Moa Dot reticle (Green Illumination)

I’ve had one on my 300 win mag for years, specifically chosen for its versatility in varieties of terrain and brush, fast up close, can/have shot accurately out to 1000 with no problem. Durable reliable and great glass/viewing experience. Like the 2.5-12 and the 1-6 very much when I’m ok with...
