Same here/agreed all around. Would add that It's not that small or light to pack, but I think it's worth it. Have slept comfortably in 10, 25, 45 and 60 degree temp ranges. (All with an exped synmat)
I ran some back in the day (15+) years ago, have been active but not regularly exercising in the last decade, signed up for a half in September/full marathon in October this year and have been enjoying getting back into shape. No time goals yet, I'm just seeing how the year develops so far...
Welcome to the midlife crisis. Some of us get it early in our 30s, some in our 50s. I'm in a similar boat, but have decided to ride out the financial stability train and set myself up for an enjoyable retirement/my kids for success like my parents did for me. Nobody's going to be able to...
As a client I feel like this is an attractive idea, however I'm wondering if the "barrier to entry" should be this low- meaning I wonder if you'd get more out of shape/poor shot/under prepared clients that think they want the adventure without understanding what it actually is?
Also if nobody...
My first "real" buck in season 4 of bowhunting (shot a small spike last year) and my first bowhunting double- a freezer queen for me/donated to FHFH button (accidental, thought it was a doe and didn't get a good look at the head until post shot). October was good to me.
No disrespect meant at all to our service members, current, past, or future, but as a 37 to with two young kids and a good job/masters degree, it sounds like a terrible idea. We've missed the boat. I am looking in to joining search and rescue or other types of volunteer orgs. Not the same...
Zipper does catch the bag a decent amount of not careful, in my limited experience. Still relatively pleased with the system (though I don't have a ton of high end sleep system experience to compare it to).
Agreed that the solo gun loading is a bit of a downer in theory. I'm leaning towards leaving the sling on for that reason, and for the offhand shot accuracy benefits- thank you for that reminder. Trying to remind myself that generally if I've taken my rifle out I'll have taken the pack off as...
I talked to them on their chat last week or the week before and they replied saying the new versions were likely to be released at some point the first half of August, so likely any day now.
Super fast shipping, here 48 hours after ordering. Thanks exo, more well made gear.
Initial fiddling report- reaching back to unbuckle is somewhat awkward, but something I can get used to. I can almost unbuckle by reaching across with my left hand as well, though my pack is loaded with 2 25 lb...
I don't see a backpack, by the looks of it he doesn't seem to walk too far from your truck. Just push in a few miles and you'll have nothing to worry about, he'll be near the parking area doing yoga when you're packing out your BOAL
Review mentioned "sealed seams"- are all seams sealed from the factory, or would user need to seam seal after purchase? And the center pole is interesting, I'd have to see it in person/be inside the tent to really tell if it's worth it, one of the things that's nice about some of the other tips...
Aren't those all for the mini, not the messenger?
I have a mini 2, one of the reasons I went with it over the messenger is the mounting etc options. Seems like Garmin designed the messenger to be a keep in your pack and pull it out with your phone when you're sending messages device.
Edit: too...
