    Custom Reeds

Hello all, I do sales for an energy and environmental company out of Northern Alberta. The large majority of my customers are hunters and a large portion of that are elk hunters. We like to have company "swag" that people will actually use. For example we just had a bunch of fishing lures...

Always overlooked guided hunts. Maybe I shouldn't?

Personally, I've never been able to justify the cost of an outfitter. My situation is a bit different, I have most of everything I want to hunt here in Alberta. Let's use an example- I'm doing a DIY bighorn sheep hunt this year. A general tag for us residents, so long as it's a trophy sheep...

Location, Quality of life, profession/trade or family? What single factor influences where you live?

I moved to Northern Alberta Canada from Southern Utah back in 2015. I was fresh out of a divorce and wanted as much distance as I could get from her. I had a standing job offer in the Oil and Gas industry up here so I took it. 7 years later I'm now doing sales for an environmental company...

    USPS Delays to Canada

Not for my pack but my sleeping pad. Had like a 4 week shipping time. I had it redirected to my parents house in Texas and had them box it up and send it to me. Then it only took 3 days.

    Best Game Bag Setup

Not my favorite bags, but the mystery ranch bags are sweet if you have a mystery ranch pack. They have tabs to slide Iverson eachother and keep things from shifting around

    Bedliner paint jobs

It's very probable. I honestly did not check. I picked up the truck from Southern BC and just assumed it should be clean enough and rust free haha. Oh well live and learn.

bars that taste good AND withstand heat

I tend to throw carb-killa bars in my pack. Get them from a supplement store, a bit pricey but they taste so good. Haven't had one melt yet, granted in hunting season where I am it doesn't really ever get hotter than 20°C

    Bedliner paint jobs

I did this one my 2009 f150. Somehow moisture or water got in between the liner and the body in some areas and I ended up with rusted out fenders in a little over a year. Although this is up in Northern Alberta, brand new trucks will rust in a year if you don't take care of them.

    Tires

I use the KO2 up in Northern Alberta. Rocks, roots lots and lots of mud. 10 ply. Not the quietest tire around but has worked really well for me. I average 50-60 thousand KM per set on a half ton.
