Because I can use my Costco Citibank card every time I get fuel and earn a 4% discount. And then when I use the same card when eating out I get another 3% discount, and finally another 2% when I use it at Costco.
Last year the wife and I "earned" a free $700 just for using this card.

If you are driving figure in 4-5 nights in a motel, food, plus fuel. Hotels alone will cost close to $1K. And none of this takes into consideration your time or potential expenses if you have a break down or wear and tear on your vehicle.

Exactly. And you also want to add a strip of tape across the bottom of the lug as well. The only place the recoil lug should make contact with is the the back of it. IMO the only exception to this rule is when bedding a Ruger 77 or a similar style recoil lug
