Ok, now I get it. You can get your Rokstok sooner but it will cost you your right index finger, which is really quite a deal when most people want an arm and a leg.
Who is making the most torque insensitive bow these days? Longer ATA, taller brace height, lower let off and stable limb pockets are great places to start but which company has nailed it with a great grip?
I value sight picture and leave my single pin on 30. I know the drops so I don't move it unless my shot is over 50.
I think everybody is susceptible to human error in different ways. I got lost in the 5 pin one year and missed a simple 20-25 yard shot. All those pretty colors are a pain...
We used to call the Utah general elk tags OTC. They sell out quick enough while they are technically OTC they move in that first day. Maybe look at setting up an online account and buying a couple of those if you want to hunt Utah particular. If not, I hear Colorado's nice that time of year.
Yes, but highly unlikely. Think of 0 points as 1 chance in hat and 10 points as 11. Your 0 points averaged out is still 1 chance. Since you applied as a group it's still one chance. Now depending on the tag you applied for, there may only be one tag. If that's the case, you are wasting your...
I've seen many setups react differently to changes in weight on an arrow. As someone said above, it's more often the tune and how forgiving it can be. If you're on the edge of your tune, softening the spine by adding weight to the front will show downrange. The same way adding weight to the...
It's a lot easier to get a tag near private lands. The north east seems to be the easiest but I haven't hunted there. Unfortunately areas that I have hunted took a really hard hit last winter and tags are still hard to come by across most of the state.
I'm not a fan of the lrhs ring either. I went back to SFP just to use the credo reticle on a few rifles that don't absolutely need FFP. Not sure why they don't put it in FFP with a few sizing adjustments.
I hate the busy tree reticles. Simple mil dot like SWFA works for me. I know how to dial elevation and can use the mil dot on the horizontal for windage.
So far, the swfa 3-15 FFP is useable for me. Other brands get too fat in the reticle on high power or too cluttered. I wish someone...
