Purchased new in 2019. Can expand to carry a week or more of food and gear and also compresses down enough for day trips and to be used as a carry on for air lines.
Used for about 10 days/season, hauled four critters.
Washed in tub per SG directions after packouts.
Foliage color.

I used my uninsulated nevadas on a south central goat hunt along with some mountain caribou hunts. My toes would get cold sitting glassing this past September hunting moose and looking to get into insulated boots honestly. I think you’d be fine with your nevadas broken in if the treads still...
I can compress my 6900 to daypack size easily and works as a carry on for airlines that way too. Side pockets really aren’t helpful or my favorite so cinch those down and take the lid off and you’re set.
I have had a stone glacier 6900 sky talus for about 5 years and finally packing out a caribou this fall I said I’m done. It’s fine until there’s real weight to pack out then I have had issues with my stone. It doesn’t do well past 60-70lbs and bulky quarters. The side zip area and pockets on the...
When I did the haul road, buddy and I spent a week up there, had usually a stalk a day with the bow, we went early August so less crowds and less caribou. Still probably the most action packed and fun hunt I’d done in years. If your buddy has a vehicle you can use, I’d do it. Car camping or...
I worked up there years ago and hunted the road once. I saw one wolf near Pump Station #2, about five miles north, just 300 yards off the side of the road. Seen plenty of foxes.
I've taken my SG 6900 with a few layers of clothes, food, laptop onboard. Sinched down as best as possible of course. Did this a few times and haven't had any issues.
One time I tried to fly with my 60L old backpacking pack from Anchorage to the lower 48 and I must have caught the Alaska...
I hit mine right behind the shoulder with Nosler AccuBond in .270 140 gr. Started climbing so hit him again and shattered his shoulder, still climbed another 10 feet before I put a third in him and he finally gave out by leaping down a cliff I couldn't see. Thankfully his tumble wasn't more than...
