Ptarmigan and sage grouse come to my mind. I think the Columbia (?) sharptail and sage grouse seasons are pretty close together in September for Colorado. Both are in deer/elk country.
I can't find a dusky to save my life, unless I'm bow hunting...
In my opinion, that's too many exercises. It also seems like undefined goals.
If you're admittedly in less than ideal condition and spending half your time doing cardio, simplify your lifting. Push/pull, upper and lower body. Forget all of the curl/isolation b.s.
Squat variation every day...
Interesting to see the lengths guys will go to, without just finishing the task. By the time you half skinned, gutted, opened joints, whatever... you could have just finished quartering it.
Also... Seems fairly obvious that cutting a blood vessel on a dead animal won't result is appreciable...
We met one of the guys from Kenai Cowboys a couple years ago. I would like to go with them if I get the chance.
We fished a little with Ninilchik, they were ok. I'll look elsewhere for myself in the future.
I have not shot the 77gr otm, but I have put about 500 of their 75gr bthp through my .223. The 75's seem to do pretty well for the price. Ten round groups about 1.25-1.5". I chrono'ed 26 rounds today, ES of 110fps SD of 27fps.
The most annoying part of their responses has been the absolute lack of solid answer.
I checked that Pacific tool company prices. It was almost $130 shipped GFY, might as well buy the Australian guy's for $170.

If you can, make a trip out just to drive the roads and see what it looks like in person. Otherwise, just arrive a couple of days early and do the same.
You might find that roads you thought you could use are impassable or not actually roads. Some might be goat...
