    @wind gypsy It's supposed to be a 0.003" neck tension mandrel, when you order from KM you order by desired neck tension and not the diameter of the mandrel (in this case it is 0.2415"). Which I know doesn't make sense, as spring back will differ between brass lots and brands. However, I think...

    Always a soft spot in my heart for the Ruger No1. A friend has a 30-06AI in a No.1 that he is holding onto for me for when I have the spare cash. However, my itch is for a break action at the moment.

    As said above, I found using a custom undersized mandrel in conjunction with FL sizing for minimal shoulder bump to be the single biggest improvement in my ES numbers over any other change in my reloading process.

    That's a good consideration I didn't think of, having the option to switch barrels would provide a lot of versatility. I also like the idea of being able to improve the trigger.

    I normally purchase a piece of dowel in the diameter needed for the required clearance, then just wrap sandpaper around that.

    I'm really not an optic snob. Currently using just burris budget binos and happy enough. However, I depend on accurate range values.
