    New to traditional archery

    There are several good middle of the road bows to try, I would say don’t dive too deep until you test it. If you are coming from the compound world I would say a Hoyt Satori would be a great start and economical.

    Stalker Stickbows????

    I have owned two bows from South, a Wolverine and a Coyote. The Wolverine was one of the best bows I have ever owned and wish I would not have parted with it. I have owned Schafer’s and pretty much everything else and it was right there.

    Your opinion on spine aligning arrows

    I have put the time in spine aligning, floating in water and all the tricks. I thought it helped for shooting long distances but after learning more I am not sure it helped at all. It is fun to tinker with and know it’s not a reason for failure!

    I have gotten so it’s not buck fever, just rush the shot and don’t take the time!

    Quiver on or off for western hunting

    I have always left mine on but when that western wind blows and you can hardly stand up, let alone fire a shot hanging in to a sail! It’s a tough one!!

    From my experience, it won’t get close to 90. Maybe 85?
