It seems several people with my gun/scope combo tend to have an issue with topping out on the elevation turret and having to use a 10 or 20 MOA base. Given that I won't be shooting long range (max 300 yrds for hunting)...

    Thanks for the input. I just got it mounted on medium rings and it’s perfect. Now I’ll have to figure out the whole shim system.
