We did pretty good on "The Loch" in RMNP. the outlet and the inlet with the moving water made the fishing easier that the lake itself, plus there are other lakes upstream that are good that we never got to. Also fished the river about two miles west of Estes and did well in the faster water upstream from the meadows. Get there earlier in either spot because parking fills up fast.
