I’m a avid outdoorsman - hiking, backpacking, whitewater paddling, mountaineering, hunting, fishing. I am a former paratrooper and wilderness search & rescue instructor, having taught swiftwater rescue, high angle rope rescue, cave rescue, wilderness survival, tower rescue, zodiac boat operations, and confined space rescue to countless county, state, and federal agencies.

I also dabble in competitive shooting, specifically USPSA and multi-gun. I currently lead a global team of project managers and engineers in realization of my employer’s capital strategy and manufacturing optimization processes.

I’m a gear head at heart and also build and refurbish chainsaws and assorted two cycle equipment in my “spare” time.
