Guess so.
But sure seams like always treat the gun as if it's loaded is a good starting point to prevent this situation....would you leave a loaded gun un-attended and elevated with the chance to fall over?
Why would you leave a rifle un-attended on tri pod elevated that high? set it down on the ground go set up and then set your rifle up. This is not that hard to figure out. Especially if the winds are high but even with out winds I wouldnt set my rifle up like that and leave it un-attended
Washington actually has some great otc Roosevelt hunting. Surprised more nr don't pursue it....Just need a few good how to videos put out there and it to will be flooded with nr
Sure seams like anytime this stuff comes up the same thing comes up we(NR HUNTERS) pay more taxes so we should get anything we want every year. It's the same thing every year.
The fact is nr hunters make up less then 1 percent of the US tax payers yet they think they should be bowed down to...
Nr hunters supply virtually nothing for federal tax dollars to support public lands.
Its the non hunting tax payers that actually fund the public land and they can use them as much as they want
What ever he is after he could find in the west general region. Weather that's a big bull or just rutting elk experience during archery season...or maybe just harvesting any elk it can be had.
Move along troll
Wyoming west general is your best options lots of units to choose from.
Lots won't like that anwser because it's going to drive point creep up but the west general is better then alot of the draw hunts and if you have lots of time you can find a bull worth 9 points in in any unit in the west...
Random with no points would have been the best option....points are just scheme for states to make more money while selling hunters the idea of better odds if you keep buy points....
Now all colorado needs to do make every nr tag a draw and they will be headed in a good direction
