Diaphragm calls

Looking at trying some new diaphragms, my current favorite is the Maverick by Phelps, love almost everything about it but I hate how slimy and floppy the tape gets.
I lip bawl with my throat and floppy tape doesn’t work with the way I call. I picked up a native and liked the tape but wasn’t a fan of the latex and frame. I have a narrow / small mouth-pallet. Any recommendations? I’m thinking of trying the small frame natives.

Get the pitch series from Phelps. I listened to a podcast with Jason Phelps and the latex getting soft was the reason for the pitch. I think any tape will get soft but the latex is the bigger issue.
