I think I might have the final two scopes down that I’d like to get for my Super Grade Model 70 in .270… I do not plan on dialing in my shots and most of my shots will be under 450 yards.

My only concern with the Trijicon is that it has very small eye relief compared to the Vortex.

Which do y’all recommend?

Vortex is $40-$50 cheaper as well!

I haven’t ever owned either of those specific models, but I have had a string of mid tier Vortex scopes including a different viper model, plus I have two Credo 3-9’s. Based on my personal experience with the two brands, if its something where losing zero by a couple tenths of a mil or even a quick warranty trip is a problem, my $ is on trijicon to be one of the more reliable scopes in that category. If it’s a range toy or a use where it’s not a big deal if it had to go back for warranty, the vortex could make sense if you like it. If the Huron has an eyebox similar to the credos I have, then it is a little shorter eye relief, but I find it plenty easy to get behind.
