Zpacks vs. Katabolic

I don't have any experience with either bag. I do have a Katabatic Gear Bristlecone bivy though. The quality of the bivy is first rate. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Katabatic Gear in the future.

I have been using the Zpacks 30* quilt all year and I really like it. I have had it down below the rating and have been warm all year.

The first pic is from scouting and the other two show the conditions from my last two trips.

Using the quilt with my Zpacks tarp.

Last weekend I slept on the snow inside my floorless SL5

I picked up a Katabatic Palisade quilt earlier this year and have been very happy with it. I also considered a Zpacks product but felt the Katabatic was a better option with the attachment system. The quality and workmanship is top notch and easily matches and maybe surpasses my Western Moutaineering bags.
