Super thankful for all the info from Rokslide, Shoot2Hunt and Exo Podcast -- even more so, all the guys I've met in the field.

Adult onset hunter with kids. Me and the youngest got it done this year. My elk (Idaho) and blacktail (WA) were solo adventures. His blacktail doe was local and his forky Mule Deer was in Montana.

So many stories, so many adventures. Big take away -- there are great people everywhere, we have so much more in common than we have that divides us. Enjoy the week with family and friends!!!

Very cool, thanks for sharing. If you don't mind sharing - what got you interested in hunting at all? It seems to skip a generation or two for some (grandpa hunted, dad didn't etc), and for others there's no background but something clicks. What got you into it?
