Has anyone done a head to head comparison?

I can’t find a shop with the 54’s locally and the shop that has the 42’s understandably doesn’t want to order a set in for me to compare.

I’m wondering if they are worth the weight penalty for the extra twilight brightness they’re supposed to deliver.

In a “show” setting, I was able to look through both free handing. They were both fantastic. If they made a 12x54 version, I probably wouldn’t have purchased the 12x50 ELs. I’m sorry I can’t offer you more.
