I'm a fan of the VX5HDs and run several. I bought a Zeiss Conquest V6 3-18 X 50 and ended up shipping the Bergara it was going on back to Bergara for repair.

I decided to put the Conquest V6 on my primary rifle Tikka T3x 6.5 Creedmoor and use it before season ends.

Anyone running a Conquest V6 on their primary hunting rifle?

Yep I have one on my 300 win mag, it was awesome this year on my CO mule deer hunt. Bounced around in a truck and Polaris, fell once while resting against some sage brush. We shot it rang steel at 400 yards. No issues. Ended up only shooting my buck at 80 yards!!!

My sons have V4's on their 7 mm mags, 1 shot at 600 yards and the other at 660 yards, 1 shot kills, scopes were awesome!!!!!

Not sure about the testing that said they couldn't be dropped or bounced around. These 3 rifles were not babied and all held zero, returned to zero and were spot on when dialing yardage.

I agree with you on the glass being better on the V6!!!!!

Yes the V6 has Schott glass. The sharpness and edge to edge clarity is excellent.

I had one for two years. I had a POI shift that caused me to miss a really nice mule deer. I’m now on board with the “drop test approved” scopes. Really nice glass though.

I just ordered a 2nd V6 3-18x50 for my Bergara Wilderness HMR 6.5 PRC. The reticle is just right and is clearly visible in the lowest light. Illumination would only be needed in the dark.

The turrets have much more positive, audible clicks than my Leupold VX5HDs and they are not limited to two revolutions like Leupold.
