I recently bought a new CA 300 WM and Zeiss Conquest v6 2.5-15x56 to use as my elk hunting rifle. I purchased the optic with exposed turrets so that I could make quicker adjustments, but didn't realize until I went out to sight the rifle in that only the elevation turret is actually exposed and able to be quickly adjusted. This is the first scope I have purchased that wasn't just a $300 vortex or Nikon so I am just curious if this is a normal thing for higher end scopes. I didn't really care that much until I had to adjust my windage when zeroing the scope and realized that its a lot more difficult to actually feel the clicks on that adjustment. Again, I am just curious if this is normal for these scopes and if anyone has any advice on why it is so hard to tell when the windage is being adjusted.
