if you want to buy from someone, who is probably someone just like you but you have 'concerns, then contact get the guy privately and get his tel no. Have a chat with the fellow and if at the end of the conversation you dont get the right vibe then dont do it. I can usually tell within first 15 sec of talk if its a nay or yeah. 99% of time its a yeah and the 1% of time its a neah cause low level scammers wont talk to you on phone. If you mail a money order you have the fellows name and address. The I google his home address and check out house on street view, zillow etc.

I like the positive feedback feature on this forum. If someone has scammed or even misrepresented something, they will get called out on it. I have bought and sold 20+ transaction on this site in the last year and they have all gone great. The only thing that kind of rubbed me the wrong way was an item that I bought that was more used and dirty than the seller let on. And he definitely didn't make any mention or show any pictures of the dirty areas. But, I probably should have asked the condition since he didn't disclose it.

thats why hi-res photos come in handy! not the ones sent to you but the specific ones you ask to be sent to you!!
