Zamberlan wide toe box

Meindls EE are the only boot that fit me, I specifically have issue with my big toe contacting the side of every other boot. It would be nice to have another option and I've been reading good things about the Zamberlan ZWL which looks like it would be the Lynx. Anyone had both? How does the toe box compare?

While not the same model as the Lynx, I have Zamberlan Hunter Pro EVO boots with "wide last" and they are indeed very wide across the forefoot. My feet are wide enough to stretch the leather on most "wide" boots (e.g., Lowa Tibet and moreso the Schnees Granite 200g), but fit easily with very thick socks in the Hunter Pros. I wear a EE in a lot of boots & shoes and have found Zamberlan Storm Pro & Baltoro with the ZBK last to work well for me. I’d imagine their wide last is even better.

I’ve had Meindl’s in both D & EE and probably have more toe box room in the Storm Pro’s compared to a D width Meindl.
