Thinking of ordering a pair of zamberlan boot. The sizes listed are European, not sure of proper size for me, I wear 9-9.5 currently and slightly wider. Also not sure of model I want. I am posting this for any help from those that know and not just a salesman at a store. I don't plan on any hard mountaineering but just looking for good fitting and long lasting boots.

Thanks

Visit Latrop and Sons on the web and give them a call.

I tend to order Zamberlans about 1/2 size smaller than my size I typically wear with other shoe manufacturers. so in terms of fit they run slightly bigger. This has been my experience with 3 different models from Zamberlans

I have the Zamberlan Guide 960 also. I normally wear a 9.5 in just about everything including Asolo and Solomon. I'm a 9 in the Guides. When I first put them on they feel a little bit snug but loosen up a bit after I start putting in the miles.

I have the 980s. I went a half size bigger as they fit better for me. If you can I would try them on.

I have the 980's and love them, I use them for everything from flatland Fallow to Tahr.

980 and gaiters means dry feet for me everywhere I go.
