Been meaning to post up some pictures of my Oklahoma whitetail trip. Had a blast and met some guys that shared my passion of bowhunting. Got some great pictures of bucks on cameras, but I think I missed the rut by about 3-5 days in either direction. Every doe I saw was running with does still. Regardless...on the last day I sealed the deal on a tasty doe at 36 yards. I had to pack her out about a mile, so rather than drag her I just did a gutless wonder. Worked great. Looking forward to getting back next year so I can get on some bucks, I'm happy to have some meat in the freezer.

Yes sir there is. I was more pumped about shooting this doe on public land, than I was about shooting my first whitetail buck with my bow on a private lease. Might help that I was busting a two year drought as well.

Good job! Thought you were headed to Missouri this year? I have been skunked so far this year but I honestly haven't got out nearly as much as I should either, stupid work.

I ended up going to OK because it was 6 hours closer and cheaper. Lol. I still wanna hunt in MO though, buddy!
