XXL Stuff Sacks

Does anyone know of a company that makes XXL stuff sacks? I'm also considering making my own UL stuff sack.

I have a pack frame for backcountry hunting. I was attaching my Golite Pinnacle to it. It's my usually go to pack for normal backpacking trips. I'm considering ditching the GoLite and attaching a large stuff sack if it will save 1-1.25 pounds. (The GoLite Pinnacle weighs a little less then 2 pounds).

I haven't been able to find a stuff sack large enough. I've seen a few around 2k sq. in. My Pinnacle is 4400 sq. in.

I've considered just stacking two or three sacks to my pack frame.

Suggestions would be appreciated. I need to keep the external frame so I'm just looking for modifications to the actual bag.

I'm not looking for high-end gear purchase suggestions, just a simple stuff sack to purchase or a possible design.

I use the same and Steep & Cheap just had them..., well, really cheap.

Walmart carries large stuff sacks made by Outdoor Products in the camping section.
They're large enough for me to use as UL pack bags and meat sacks.
Didn't trust the cheap chinese sewing on them so I ran them across my sewing machine to re-enforce.

KUIU has a size XXL now. Mine measures like 35 by 20 I believe. 3.5 oz.

I just order 1 from Bear Paw Wilderness. He will make what ever size you need. I order some of his standard size and also a 9 x 26 to put my meat bags in for the carry out.

Have you thought about using some of the "cubes" made by Mountainsmith or Kelty? They will allow you stack them much easier than a bag, if you go that route.

dont know if you would consider sea to summit ultralight silnylon dry bags as high end or not but they make one in 35 Liters that would serve you well for ~ $40. They are called sea to summit ultra-sil.

You could look at a pack liner dry bag as well. I have seen a few around. I believe Sea to Summit makes one, granite gear, and some others.

I just bought a 55L roll top dry bag at Bimart for $12 (12x30). You can get a 3 pack (s,m,l) at Walmart for about $5. The kayak bags are nice and big also but heavier than the dry sacks. I have a bunch of stuff sacks but without the roll top you can't get the bag tight around the contents to keep things quiet.

Bob, Good point on advantages of roll top on helping keep things quiet.
Normally I just use my sleeping bag & clothes to keep things from rattling.
I also think effective use of pull-outs help there too.

I picked up a 55L roll top dry bag like yours for $12. I have a two lightweight mesh ditty bags I'm going to sew on the side to store the stuff I want to get to on a regular basis. This should save me above 1.5 lbs at a cost of $12. Not to shabby. The only problem is the dry bag is light blue. I wond
