Hi all,
New member here. I’m heading to unit 67 in WY for elk. Was hoping to get some first had knowledge from anyone who has hunted the unit in the past. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advanced

I have accidently come close enough to a bear in 68 to hear his teeth snapping as a warning. I would expect 67 has bears as well.Stay sharp!

Advice. . .
1. Introduce yourself in the FNG section
2. Become a participating member of Rokslide
3. Don't make your first post a question about a specific unit
4. Start studying well in advance
4a. As a part of studying call local
biologists, wardens, and so on.
5. Get the elknut app
6. Get elk 101
7. Google earth is your friend
8. Request that people PM when you ask for unit specific info or advice, and ask questions not just for general advice.
9. Enjoy the best hunting community on the internet!
10. Live every day to its fullest!

That should be a good start!

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the pointers and yes I agree with the comments posted above from string&stick my bad.
A little about me:
I live in Boston MA and work in the construction industry. I have been hunting out west for the past few years because hunting in people's back yards in Mass is not really hunting. Last year my friend and I had an amazing DIY Antelope hunt in northern WY. The year before that I hunted the Cabinet mountains in MT for elk where I was fortunate enough to take my first elk a beautiful 5x5. Again i apologize for jumping right to the point above. This seems like a great resource. Please feel free to PM me with any info as it is greatly appreciated.
Best,
