Wyoming resident draw

I always buy a resident general. I also just found out I drew a resident Area 67, Type 6 (cow/calf). This is southern Absaroka, north of Dubois. Was up there scouting last night and saw a sow Grizzly with two cubs. Should be an interesting fall.

I saw 5 grizzlies in 4 days in this area a few weeks ago..6 out of the last 8 bears I’ve seen in the area have been grizzlies. Good luck on your hunt. I didn’t draw a cow tag for the unit unfortunately..I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the secondary draw.

That general area is just crawling with bears, it’s getting about dam time to thin them some it’s just crazy. I had one in the box of my truck last year trying to rip open a bear proof cooler they have no fear, my 10mm noise maker sent him scrambling but Geezze.

I was regularly in Pinedale while hunting the Bridger NF south of Jackson last year. A local showed me pictures of grizzlies traveling in packs north of there (in your direction) as an ongoing forest fire was pushing them south. At least we assumed they were only traveling in packs due to that fire. God help y'all if they're evolving to work in packs.
