I had the same issue shipping a scope. Now I package stuff myself, pay through UPS.com which is cheaper than going into the store. Not sure what BR means about them denying all insurance claims? Is it because they say there is inadequate packaging? My mom owns a shipping store and helps people make claims all the time when a package gets lost or damaged whether they shipped it through her or not. I package my stuff so it can't get damaged. I only ever worry about them losing it.
