The app works quite well with a smart phone. Instead of using it on a GPS. Just another option. Good luck!

Yeah, I've got that but my phone crapped out on me last year. So I double up. Not ready to give up the GPS just yet.

I’m in the same boat. Looking at just buying one. It was my understanding that Meateater had a promo code for a discount. Not sure of the amount. Was just going to type it in at checkout before deciding.
