Just a heads up before you head down that path.. As much as I like the gun bearer for rifles, it doesn't work for my bow. My cams are too big and slides out of the "cradle".
I appreciate your input. I'm trying to figure the best way to attach my bow to the back of my pack. I have an IconPro7200 and am going to be mountain biking back about 5 miles - so I'm guessing a system where the bow hangs in front wouldn't work on a bike. I've heard the Kuiu holder isn't the best - that is why I was interested in trying a used version....
The Gunbearer works better if you DON'T place the cam in the pocket. Here's a better photo, note I put a twist in the cradle as well...it remains completely secure this way. I had to experiment a bit to figure this out. Now the bow rides lower (not so much in your face) yet can be drawn in seconds. A bow on your back requires you remove the pack first...no bueno in the field. For biking you can simply strap the bow to your pack.
