So here’s what I’m up to… I have an old sporterized Eddystone 1917 rifle I love but don’t love .30-06 and am interested in rebarrelling to a low powder capacity 6mm chambering. I think these will feed okay from the fixed factory magazine (controlled feed long action) but I’d like to make up some dummy rounds from 6BR brass run up into my .30-06 sizing die to make sure.
So, I’m looking for 5 brass cases in any 6BR variant (Dasher preferably) in any condition. I’ll share what I learn here for posterity.
