I've looked thru several posts and can't find exactly what I'm searching for. I'm looking for a synthetic work pants that won't pill from wearing an electricians pouch. I've worn wrangler atg, prana and a couple other brands that ball up real bad from rubbing on my pouch. Looking for reasonable priced pants not $150 pants that will get stained and ruined.

As a carpenter, I use wrangler outdoor pants. Can’t beat them for $25 per pair. They’re also the lightest, most breathable pants I’ve ever worn.
I’m not positive about pilling, as I generally don’t wear a tool belt. But for $25 they’re worth a try

I’ve been wearing thriftshop BDUs for years. Hard to beat the durability for the cost, even though they run like $12 sometimes now. And I love cargo pockets to keep a tourniquet, work gloves etc. etc. I work in tree service.
I do have an Air Force base in town so can usually find some in my size if I make a few stops to look for’em.

Company I work for gives us Truewerk T1 for work pants. Our mechanics wear T2 but don't know much about them. They are more durable, better made and like the pockets better that the wrangler or Eddie Bauer pants I used to wear before they provided uniforms. I haven't bought any with my own money but will when my wrangler and Eddie Bauer pants wear out.

Red cap work pants or the like in black or dark brown off ebay. Inevitably working around equipment I get grease on clothing that wont come off. There is a reason old harley riders wear black t shirts.
7.99/pr.

The only thing that I don't love about the truewerks is the cargo pocket.
