I saw something in a WTB ad in the classifieds and it led me down this rabbit hole that ended in me looking at the Woox stock for a Sauer 100 or Tikka T3X. The most likely rifle on which I would use this is a Sauer 100. I didn't find any recent threads on this, except in the classifieds, so it seems that it is maybe not very popular around here? This is the specific one in which I was most interested.

I'm curious if anyone here has any firsthand experience with them. How do they compare with similar alternatives as a stock for a hunting rifle? Of course, I am particularly interested in comparisons with the wooden RokStok.
I can see that they are going to be at least 1.5 pounds heavier than a wooden RokStok (3.6-4.1 pounds versus 20-32 ounces). When it comes to weight, I'm generally with Boris the Bulletdodger ("Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work, you can always hit them with it.").
At least to an extent... I'm just saying, if your only objection is the weight, that's a hard number which I can evaluate for myself. But if the weight doesn't come with reliability or utility (e.g. recoil management), then I won't pay for it monetarily or physically. It's noteworthy that the heavy pistol that Boris sold Tommy didn't actually fire. I don't want that.
If you've heard good or bad things, I'll take that too, as long as it comes with a source I can check out for myself.
Finally, if there's something similar to the Woox wood-enhanced chassis, which you think I should also consider, I'm interested in hearing about that as well.
