Winchester Model 70 oberndorf vs standard bottom metal

Any pros and cons of one vs the other by those who have had experience with them? I have only run the standard on all my backpack hunts, and I have never had a floorplate accidentally open.

to me the Oberndorf is just a little easier in function and is a nice touch when customizing a rifle.
I have 8 model 70's set up with them.

I’ve had a pricey sunny hill over standard on a past build and saw no performance improvement but it looked nice. My current pre-64 build will have a standard weight bottom metal.

I priced those sunny hills. Wow! Pricey indeed

I have an aftermarket standard on my build and it's never given me issues. It can kinda be a pain to get open and closed I guess. I bought mine at stocky's they have both styles in a few different finishes
