Will a cerakoted barrel affect headspace?

Just got a new proof competition contour barrel in stainless in. Thought it would look better in my chassis but I want to cerakote it black now. It’s a prefit so I’ll be torquing it onto the barrel myself. Could this be an issue with head spacing? Is there anything I need to ask the company to stay away from to avoid this?

No, if done properly Cerakote is only .001” thick. Some mask the threads and shoulders and some don’t. I personally mask all threads and shoulders.

No issues with head spacing on any of my cerakoted barrels. I used to worry about it as well, but that worry was premature.
