Who’s ready to go pink?

I just became aware that some states are allowing or considering allowing hunters to wear pink instead of orange. I’ll be sticking to orange.

It has been legal in MT for a while.

Never seen anyone in the field or in a photo wearing it, though.

I have shot pink vanes (feathers) for a long time out of one of my bows. Two pink and a white cock feather .... Let the jokes begin ...

It is one of the easiest combos to follow in flight and to find on the ground. My other favorite is 2 lime or chartreuse with a purple cock .... Yeah, I said it .... Go Vikes ... LOL

I doubt pink as a safety color beats blaze orange by a lot in low light but I bet it beats it some. My guess is that if some identity group would get behind neon chartreuse as a safety color, both the pink and blaze orange crowd would go to bed crying.

I never liked the blaze orange requirement around here (Southeast) anyway ....

Haven’t heard if there’s been an increase or not.

I just put some neon pink duct tape on my dogs black e collar controller antenna.....easier to find if I drop it. I like bright colored duct tape for my bird dogs and the Walmart was out of orange.

I would think chartreuse would be a better option than pink. Having some degree of red-green color-blindness, I find orange and yellow easier to pickup against a gray/tan background than I see pink. I don't recall the numbers, but it's somewhat common for men to have a red-green deficiency in our visual spectrum.

Also, I think the notion that pink gets girls hunting is retarded.
